We offer a number of online recorded courses for parents and teachers. 
Querying Dyslexia and the Assessment Process 
This course is for parents of primary school children who want to find out more about dyslexia. This course will inform you about dyslexia, the signs and indicators, how it can present at home and at school, the areas in school it can affect and the assessment process (public and private).  The three modules are available for a three week period to cover at your own leisure.
Practical Tips and Strategies for Parents  
This course is for parents of primary school children with dyslexia or a literacy difficulty. It is not necessary to have an official diagnosis of dyslexia for your child to benefit from this course. This course will help inform you about dyslexia and give you practical tips and strategies for helping your child at home. The four modules are available for a three week period to cover at your own leisure.

Dyslexia Friendly Teaching for Teachers and Tutors
This course is for primary school teachers and tutors of primary school children who have a difficulty in literacy and/or a diagnosis of dyslexia. Teachers must be registered with the Teaching Council. This course will inform you about dyslexia and areas of literacy such as phonological awareness, phonics, reading, writing and spelling. It will focus on the classroom and smaller settings such as SET or tutoring. The four modules are available for a three week period to cover at your own leisure. Please note this course will not grant you EPV days.
Creating a Dyslexia Friendly School
This course will aim to inform all school staff about the signs and indicators of dyslexia, how to make practical changes in classrooms, how to gather information and how to make your school environment more inclusive. This two hour course is available for one month for staff to complete as a group or individually. This course can be done during Croke Park hours. This course will be released on a monthly basis from September 2022.

One to One Termly Programme

One to one termly literacy programmes available for primary school children. We will carry out a series of mini assessments to gauge their strengths and areas of need (this is not an official diagnosis). We will then create a programme that is specific to your child and deliver it weekly in our premises in Navan. Please contact us for the next available slot.

Phone / Video Consultations  


Consultation calls are available to parents to discuss topics of your choice e.g. your child's learning, their strengths and areas of need, help at home and general advice for you in the area of dyslexia and literacy. We communicate with you via email prior to the call to gather information. This 45 -60 minute call can be tailored to your needs and questions.
